Blaise asked for his picture with the giant centipede that apparently roamed IL at one time. There's a lot of bad stuff in our modern world, but hey, no giant centipedes. :)
Checking out some dinosaur fun facts. There were buttons you could push to hear each dinosaur's name. Rosie was all about that.
We ran/scootered down the new 606 trail. Here are the boys at the end- Kings of the mountain!
As you can see, Blaise does not always have saintly behavior! Blaise's name, however, comes from a saint whose feast day we observe every February. St. Blaise is known for blessing throats, as he once saved a young boy choking on a fish bone. He also is the patron saint of wild animals. Perhaps he can intercede on behalf of our cat? We expect that our Blaise will have lots of spunk, just like the saint he's named after!
