Go A's

The season winds to an end. Last night Uncle Brian, Aunt Di, Amanda, Aunt Becky and the cousins all came to the game.
Uncle Brian bought a new cap just for the occasion. What a great fan!

Go A's and go Blaise!

This week

Blaise had two games. He earned the game ball after one, something he had hoped for all season. That's probably because the cousins, Papa Clark and our friend Carolin all came to cheer him on.
The boys started swim classes. No pictures of the class available since Gus was mad as a wet hen. He will be bribed with a happy meal next week.
And here we have the twins. Rosie smiles her biggest for Blaiser.
Rosie got the green light for solids.
Get it girl.
No playin with your food Rose.
Papa Clark visited and we had a cousin lunch
We went to see Boston at Montrose Beach
An old lady at church spoke German to Rosie and said her cheeks look like "an angel about to blow her trumpet" :)

Summertime Antics

Here we have possibly my least favorite summer activity "Band." This involves making loud tooting sounds, walking in circles and stomping your feet, and almost always coincides with Rosie's nap. Tommy lurks ready to snatch the offending instruments.
"But Dad I've always wanted to play the panflute."
Down to the basement with that annoying noise, dude. See ya.
Freshly up from her nap, Rosie is schooled in dinosaurs. Blaise insists her fave is Iguanodon. He was pleased that she chose a plant eater.
And here is Thomas B. Demko striking his most presidential pose. He made these name tags while I was upstairs and even taped VP Gus J Demko's to his back.

And here's the real boss around here, Rose E. Demko. Just look at those new pearly whites. Id vote for you Rosie.
In the meantime, the tornado has blown outside where the Spider-man sprinkler is twerking and push-ups are served up fresh.
Gus is brave to go close to Spider-Man.
Long live summer.

Family Fun

This weekend brought MarMar, Bride Aunt Maggi and Groom Uncle Andrew to town.
Maggi and Andrew asked the big kids via cookies, if they'd be the ring bearers and flower girl for their wedding.
Elisa wants flowers on her dress.
Blaise takes the job very seriously. He turned in his resume a few months ago and was delighted by the news.
Gus promised to take a bath before the big day.
MarMarstayed with us, much to our delight. She and Gus enjoyed their Kashi in the morning.
And Rose was happy for the extra snuggles.
And a happy Fathers Day to the cool Daddy-O with the pink burp cloth who is so confidently feeding his baby girl watermelon.

Camp Mimi 2014

Mimi is hosting the boys for a week of Pure Michigan. Tonight they went on the Simon family's boat and had chocolate ice cream. I don't think they will want to come home.
Here Mimi practices the death grip on Gus. I warned her of his crazy antics.
I've never seen them look happier!
The chocolate ice cream twins. Suddenly very serious.
Gus had to wear his life jacket inside the ice cream shop, just in case. You never know with Gus. But boy is he happy to have ice cream!
You're Six, not sixteen, Blaise!

Blaise is 6
