After a quiet morning at home, we went to Oktoberfest at St. Mike's. Blaise met baby Maggie, who was born the day after him. After he chowed down and threw back a few brews, Blaise fell asleep at the table. ZZZZZZ
As you can see, Blaise does not always have saintly behavior! Blaise's name, however, comes from a saint whose feast day we observe every February. St. Blaise is known for blessing throats, as he once saved a young boy choking on a fish bone. He also is the patron saint of wild animals. Perhaps he can intercede on behalf of our cat? We expect that our Blaise will have lots of spunk, just like the saint he's named after!
