We visited Stephanie in South Bend for her birthday. Steph and I ran in a race at SMC, then the family walked to ND. Blaise peeked into the stadium and saw the football team march by. We spent the rest of the weekend in Michigan with Mimi and G-Pops.
As you can see, Blaise does not always have saintly behavior! Blaise's name, however, comes from a saint whose feast day we observe every February. St. Blaise is known for blessing throats, as he once saved a young boy choking on a fish bone. He also is the patron saint of wild animals. Perhaps he can intercede on behalf of our cat? We expect that our Blaise will have lots of spunk, just like the saint he's named after!
