Papa Clark took us to the Columbus Conservatory. It had a butterfly garden and the boys made a winged friend. When it landed on Gus' shoulder he was so happy he gave it a kiss.
As you can see, Blaise does not always have saintly behavior! Blaise's name, however, comes from a saint whose feast day we observe every February. St. Blaise is known for blessing throats, as he once saved a young boy choking on a fish bone. He also is the patron saint of wild animals. Perhaps he can intercede on behalf of our cat? We expect that our Blaise will have lots of spunk, just like the saint he's named after!
