We love our friends the Heins. Some highlights from our trip: Matching outfits, playing firefighter, all you can eat Oreos, and King Cake. Thank you Bridge for showing us how to have fun!!
As you can see, Blaise does not always have saintly behavior! Blaise's name, however, comes from a saint whose feast day we observe every February. St. Blaise is known for blessing throats, as he once saved a young boy choking on a fish bone. He also is the patron saint of wild animals. Perhaps he can intercede on behalf of our cat? We expect that our Blaise will have lots of spunk, just like the saint he's named after!
