Blaise and I joined Cat for a dip in the pool. We always seem to run into our buddy Cat around Old Town! Roxanna and her pups from upstairs played with Blaise out in the courtyard. Oh, how Blaise has grown!
As you can see, Blaise does not always have saintly behavior! Blaise's name, however, comes from a saint whose feast day we observe every February. St. Blaise is known for blessing throats, as he once saved a young boy choking on a fish bone. He also is the patron saint of wild animals. Perhaps he can intercede on behalf of our cat? We expect that our Blaise will have lots of spunk, just like the saint he's named after!
