Aunt Maggi and Andrew charged through the Chicago Marathon yesterday. (Don't they look great for having run a marathon earlier in the day?? Wow!!) We had a great time cheering them on from the sidelines.
As you can see, Blaise does not always have saintly behavior! Blaise's name, however, comes from a saint whose feast day we observe every February. St. Blaise is known for blessing throats, as he once saved a young boy choking on a fish bone. He also is the patron saint of wild animals. Perhaps he can intercede on behalf of our cat? We expect that our Blaise will have lots of spunk, just like the saint he's named after!
