I should be packing...

...but I'd rather blog about our visit with Gran Mare! Our beloved Gran Mare ventured to London to meet her first grand daughter, Elisa! On her way back, we met Gran Mare at O'Hare (rhyme!) to visit over lunch. Blaise was able to show off his new crop of teeth and demonstrate his highchair skills. We all wish Gran Mare passed through Chicago more often.

Blaise and Ping snuck out of the house for a little romp in the snow. Blaise felt right at home in the fluffy white flakes, Ping quickly realized how good he has it at 1719! Here is my furry "son" asking to come back in.

Party time!

Cousin Makayla's first birthday party was Sunday. Blaise was quite the "social beast" when it came to interacting with the other babies. Look at the birthday girl's cool birthday button!

Road trip!

We visited our besties, Bridge and Owen for the day. Owen and Blaise took a shine to each other. Owen showed Blaise his walking skills, Blaise squealed with delight. See you again soon we hope!

Uncle Danny and Uncle Danny

Our brothers (Danny and Danny!) came to visit over New Year's. We took them out for some dude activities- like the ESPN Zone and brunch at Stanley's. One night they even ventured to a bar that features turtle racing- which unfortunately Blaise and I didn't get to tag along for.

College friends, baby friends

Jen and baby Madeline happened to pass through Chicago. Bridget, Blaise and I met up with them for chatting and chai. Blaise and Madeline were fast friends... just like Bridget, Jen and I! Looking forward to our SMC reunion this summer!!!
