So yesterday Mummy McCusker and I bravely brought Elisa and Blaise to the Modern Wing at the Art Institute. The babies were a little talkative throughout the exhibits, but found the family play area delightful.

We Built This City

One of our favorite new playthings are these bright bath toys. Blaise and Dad worked together to create a map of Chicago. (Wouldn't Chicago be extra beautiful if all the buildings were red, purple, yellow and teal?)

Where Is Baby's Mommy?

That is the title of Blaise's favorite book. It was also quite a relevant question last weekend as Mama snuck away to her 5 year college reunion! Blaise enjoyed a weekend in Michigan, where Uncle Danny and Aunt Nina brought him to the zoo. Knowing Blaise was in safe hands (well, sort of- that picture is a little unsettling...) Bridget and I zoomed down to Saint Mary's for all sorts of fun. Here are a few photos of our weekend away- including one of my pregnant roommate- so cute!

Birthday Boy

It was a special day full of simple pleasures. Lunch with Dad, a blue balloon, a new ride and a cupcake to top it all off. Happy birthday, dear Blaise.
